Who we are

Feu de Lune is run by Nicola Sutherland, trading as Feu de Lune, a sole trader based in Southampton, United Kingdom. Nicola is the "controller" of your personal data, which means she decides how it is used. You can contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected].

What we collect

When you join our First Light list, we collect your email address, your first name (if you choose to give it), and a record that you ticked the consent box. Like most websites, our hosting provider also briefly processes technical information, such as your IP address, so the site can be delivered securely.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details only to email you news about the Feu de Lune launch. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box when you sign up. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email, replying "unsubscribe", or emailing [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

The technical information processed by our hosting provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the website running and secure.

Who helps us (our processors)

We use a small number of trusted service providers. They act as our processors, which means they may only use your data on our instructions and not for their own purposes. We never sell or rent your data.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After that, we delete your details, except that we may keep your email address on a short suppression list so we never email you again by mistake.
